AGM 2010
The recent AGM, held at King's College Hospital, was a great sucess with speakers from ZHTS and Zimbabwe taking part along with an informative and incentivisng discussion.
A summary of the ZHTS aims for 2010 - 2011 include;

Aim to move towards supporting clinical officer training

Campaign to support UZ medical school financially (possibly through scholarship funds, encourage alumni to donate, set criteria)

Focus on IT links

Make curriculum development a priority, in particular, arrange visit to the UK for university staff and a longer term visit in Zimbabwe to support this.

Move towards delivering courses as opposed to a set of lectures

Work towards making NARC a yearly course

Formal application to LATH

Ethics course for staff/curriculum development programs

Combine teaching with improving quality of service

Focus on the quality of educational training

Improve the co-ordination of visits from UK.
