Project Zimbabwe's next fundraising event; Music Night, 12th March 2010. More information coming soon!

Thank you to John Somner for raising over £800 for ZHTS through an Ophthalmology Interview Training course!
ZHTS is supporting the fundraising appeal of Streets Ahead (www.streetchildafrica.org.uk).
Streets Ahead is a small, grass roots (Christian Missionary), under-resourced NGO based in Harare. They work with homeless, abandoned children, a lot of whom are HIV/AIDS orphans. They are often sick, malnourished and vunerable to all kinds of abuse. Case-workers go out onto the street to find these children, befriend them, offer them on-the-spot education and invite them to a drop-in centre for food, a shower and counselling. The next stage is family re-tracing and contacting or locating potential foster families which is a time consuming and costly venture.
Please see the above web-site for more information about the project and ways in which you can offer your support.
